Multi-talented artist, Houon Pierre was always driven by his passion for music and arts, he was also known for his talent as sound engineer. He started music really early as an autodidact, reading books like "Salut les copains", and started to work hard. At school he was part of the "Résurex" orchestra, in Daloa school. In Abidjan, he was singer of the pop band "Les Séduisants", or leader of the Sablatou Daniel's orchestra called "Sabou". He also conducted with Alex, his elder brother, a family orchestra called the "Belier Andralex Band", and was also part of the famous François Lougah orchestra. With Badmos, he arranged François Lougah’s track "Sotra Bus" in 1977.
